1.6 Originating Features

Trunk Access, Direct

Description
Allows the PT user to get an idle CO line for making a call by pressing an idle CO button
directly. This automatically establishes the hands-free operation mode and allows the extension
user to perform On-Hook Dialling. There is no need to press the SP-PHONE button,
MONITOR button nor lift the handset.
Conditions
• CO Button Assignment
The following three types of CO buttons can be programmed on an extension by Station,
User or System Programming: Single-CO button, Group-CO button, and Loop-CO button.
• Class of Service programming
COS (Class of Service) programming determines the trunk groups available for each
extension user.
