PIR Setting (Passive Infrared Sensor)

The WPS-300-CUB-IP is equipped with an external Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) to sense motion in addition to the standard in-
camera motion detection. Use this sensor to detect people and animals passing through the field of view. The sensor works within
the following areas:

Check the boxes to enabled desired event actions when the sensor detects motion:
E-Mail – check the box to send media via email. Requires configuration of Email Settings as
defined in section
9.3.8.2. Mail
FTP – check the box to save media to an FTP site or server. Requires configuration of FTP as
defined in section
9.3.8.3. FTP
Out1 (DO Out) – Check to activate the DO contact output to trigger a connected device contact
input. Requires connection and configuration of DO output as defined in section
Connections.
SD Card – check the box to save media to a microSD card (if installed). See section
Menu
for more information about microSD card setup and use.
Network Share – check the box to save media to a Network Share location. Requires the
configuration of Network Share as defined in section
Audio Out – check the box to enable the WAV file selected below to play when events occurs.
When PIR is enabled and the Audio Out checkbox above is selected, the WAV file sound selected from
the drop-down menu will play for the "Interval" selected below.
Selects the minimum time between motion events that the camera will respond to. Higher values are
useful to reduce notifications for camera scenes with more expected motion.
Upload a custom .wav file to play when PIR events occur. File size limit: less than 100KB.
Format: 8KHz/16bit/Mono.
Press record WAV file to record a new audio clip. Then select "Record WAV File"from the list of WAV
Files above to hear the custom file when events record.
