In order to work with the camera before hanging it on the mount, leave it sitting in the foam packaging. Remove the top cover by twisting it counter-clockwise and unhooking the security cable from the hook in the top of the camera.

Remove any protective films or covers from the lens assembly. On the WPS-500-PTZ-A, remove the yellow tag from the lens. For WPS-500-PTZ-A cameras, remove the protective film from the dome and twist the dome onto the camera until it is hand tight.

These commands can be used to configure camera control options by assigning the numbers to shortcut keys in a PTZ controller or entering them manually.
