Optimal

Choose this option and the BIOS configures the system using the
best-case values to optimize system performance. However, these
values may not be applicable to your system. If your system does not
boot after choosing this setting, reconfigure it using the Fail-safe
settings. Refer to the following section.
The screen below appears if you choose

Setup menu. Select
to load the optimum values.

Fail-safe

Choose this option and the BIOS automatically configures the system
using the most stable settings. These settings are not necessarily the
best settings for system performance, but safe and stable enough to
guarantee you that your system will boot. This is useful if you are
having problems with your current system configuration and need to
determine the cause.
A prompt appears if you choose
from the Default Setup
Fail-safe
menu. Select
Yes
to load the fail-safe values.
