CAUTION
The IP filtering function (Ethernet) (Pr.1442 to Pr.1448) is provided as a means to prevent unauthorized access, DoS attacks,
computer viruses, or other cyberattacks from external devices, but the function does not prevent such access completely. In
order to protect the inverter and the system against unauthorized access by external systems, take additional security
measures. We shall have no responsibility or liability for any problems involving inverter trouble and system trouble by DoS
attacks, unauthorized access, computer viruses, and other cyberattacks. The following are examples of measures to prevent
them.
- Install a firewall.
- Install a personal computer as a relay station, and control the relaying of transmission data using an application program.
- Install an external device as a relay station to control access rights. (For the details of external devices used to control access
rights, contact the distributors of the external devices.)
