3.6.4 Supporting probes against warping
For Ex approval:
A support is required for probe lengths ≥ 3 m, (see drawing).
For GL/ABS approval:
Rod probes ∅ 16 mm ≤ 1 m permissible, rod probes ∅ 6 mm not permissible.
A support is required for coax probes ≥ 1 m (see drawing).
