Before beginning this procedure, follow the warnings and cautions.
The DSC-25 card can be installed in any PCIe slot if it is not installed with the iLO Sideband ALOM Module.
Prerequisites Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:
The components included with the hardware option kit
T-15 Torx screwdriver
Procedure Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack .
b. Remove the server from the rack .
4. Remove the access panel .
5. If applicable, remove the primary riser cage .
6. Remove the primary riser blank.
7. Install the DSC-25 card.
