Setting according to Q(U) characteristic

Q(U) characteristic
Select the
QUX1 to QUX4: Enter the set values for QUX1 to QUX4 using the number entry fields. Take the set values from
Figure 4: Q(P) characteristic.
QUY1 to QUY4: Enter the set values for QUY1 to QUY4 using the number entry fields. Take the set values from the
two following tables.
i
In setting the parameters, the following condition must be complied with:
QUX1 ≤ QUX2 < QUX3 ≤ QUX4
Time delay: Enter the time in seconds after which the idle power is to be reset.
Minimum power: Enter the minimum power up to which the idle current is not regulated in per cent (%).
Meaning
Parameter
Start of the first section of the Q(U) characteristic on the voltage axis. The parameter
QUX1
is entered in V.
Example:
Power factor at the start of the Q(U) characteristic. If the mains voltage comes under
QUY1
the value defined as QUX1, the characteristic is limited to the value set in QUY1 (see
Figure 4 Q(P) characteristic).
End of the first section of the Q(U) characteristic on the voltage axis. The parameter is
entered in V.
QUX2
Example:
220.
Power factor at the end of the first section of the Q(U) characteristic. If the mains
voltage exceeds the value defined as QUX2, the characteristic is limited to the value
QUY2
set in QUY2.
Normally, the parameter is set to 0, i.e. no idle power is produced (see Figure 4 Q(P)
characteristic).
Start of the second section of the Q(U) characteristic on the voltage axis. The
QUX3
parameter is entered in V.
Example:
Power factor at the start of the Q(U) characteristic. If the mains voltage comes under
the value defined as QUX3, the characteristic is limited to the value set in QUY3.
QUY3
Normally, the parameter is set to 0, i.e. no idle power is produced (see Figure 4 Q(P)
characteristic).
End of the second section of the Q(U) characteristic on the voltage axis. The parameter
is entered in V.
QUX4
Example:
240.
Power factor at the end of the first section of the Q(U) characteristic. If the mains
QUY4
voltage exceeds the value defined as QUX4, the characteristic is limited to the value
set in QUY4 (see Figure 4 Q(P) characteristic).

in the drop-down list.
The characteristic begins at 190 V àQUX1 has the value 190.
The first section of the characteristic ends at 220 V à QUX2 has the value
The characteristic begins at 235 V à QUX3 has the value 235.
The second section of the characteristic ends at 240 V à QUX4 has the value
