Control Modes
The E-Flo iQ system can be controlled locally or
remotely. Pressing the soft key for this icon toggles
back and forth between the two modes. When this icon
is displayed, the pump is controlled in Local mode
through the display. When this icon
the pump is controlled in Remote mode through
discrete I/O or fieldbus protocols.
If the system is in Remote mode, the pump is active,
and there are no errors, dispensing can be controlled
by the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or robot
through a fieldbus connection. The ADM goes into PLC
Lockout during this time. While in PLC lockout, the PLC
has complete control. You can change settings if they
are not password protected but cannot perform any
other functions using the ADM.
Pump Status
Pump Status is for Ram systems only. The three dots
located above the pump on the Run Home screen
indicate the pump status and whether or not an error is
active on the pump. They represent increasing levels of
readiness and activity.
