Commissioning steps – Overview
Condition:
Adequate reception quality (see
page 9).
1. Inserting the SIM card (see the fol-
lowing chapter).
There must be no SMS messages
saved on the SIM card.
Note
Observe the system requirements for
the SIM card (see page 7).
2. Connect power plug or switch ON
mains isolator.
3. Enter SIM card PIN (see page 20).
Note
After entering the PIN, the Vitocom
100 is commissioned exclusively via
SMS messages using a mobile
phone.

Please note
Inserting the SIM card with the
mains voltage applied can dam-
age the device or the SIM card.
Pull the mains plug before insert-
ing the SIM card.
