Configuring the Vitotrol 300B

Up to 3 heating/cooling circuits and one
separate cooling circuit can be operated
with one Vitotrol 300B.
Note
■ Only one heating circuit can be con-
figured as a heating/cooling circuit.
■ If a heating circuit is configured as a
heating/cooling circuit, it is not possi-
ble to connect a separate cooling cir-
cuit.
1. Switch ON the power supply at the
Vitotronic control unit.
The operating status of the heating
system is transmitted. A progress bar
appears in the display.
2. Select the language with / .
3. Press OK to confirm.
4. Use to select the heating/cooling
circuits or separate cooling circuit
and separate room temperature sen-
sor (if installed) you wish to operate.
5. Select "Save with OK" using / .
6. Press OK to confirm.
7. Select "Yes" with / .
8. Press OK to confirm.
The operating status of the heating/
cooling circuits and the separate
cooling circuit is transmitted. A pro-
gress bar appears in the display. This
process may take several minutes.
Note
While the progress bar is showing,
pressing will display the configura-
tion and programming unit ID.
If, for example, a Vitotrol 300A was
connected while a Vitotrol 300B was
being replaced, the progress bar on
the Vitotrol 300A will run constantly.
When the progress bar disappears,
the configuration is complete.
Otherwise, check the heating circuit
allocation.
Note
To return to the configuration, press
and simultaneously and hold for
approx. 4 s.
Settings at the Vitotronic control unit:
Check or set the relevant parameters
(2003, 3003, 4003, 7116).
Note
If a heating circuit allocation is subse-
quently cancelled, reset the parameters
listed above.
