Management Setup Menu Screens
To...
Set the console port setting for a direct console connection. The default is
CONSOLE MODE.
Set the rate at which data is sent between devices. The default is 9600.
Options: 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200 bps.
Set the data bits of the RS232 port. The default is 8 bits.
Options: 7, 8
Set the stop bits of the RS232 port. The default is 1 bit.
Options: 1, 2
Set the parity of the RS232 port. The default is NONE.
Options: none/odd/even
Set the time interval since the last input was received from the device
attached to the COM port, before the current session is automatically closed.
The default is 10.
Range: 0-100 minutes; 0: disabled
Set the interval before a console session will auto refresh the console
information, such as Spanning Tree Information, Port Configuration, Port
Statistics, and RMON Statistics. The default is 5.
Range: 5-255 seconds; 0: disabled
