PART 2: CONFIGURATION

Installing SV Windows Application

NOTE: Windows OS and SV Windows application are pre-installed prior to deployment, but there are some instances where the end user
will want to do this themselves.
If installing Windows OS yourself, Windows OS must be installed on the mSATA drive [internal SSD].
Windows OS must be installed prior to installing the SV Windows Application and any other applications.
After installing Windows OS, install the SV Windows Application.
To install the SV Windows Application yourself, see steps below:
Step 1. Connecting to the NVR
There are two methods for connecting to the NVR:
1.
Using a keyboard, mouse and monitor – (preferred method)
Monitor – HDMI
Keyboard and mouse – USB
If using this method, connect keyboard, mouse, and monitor to NVR, then proceed to 'Step 2. Installing SV Windows
Application' on the following page.
2. Using your PC and Windows Remote Desktop Connection Application – (Ethernet cable required)
If using this method, connect the PC to the NVR's Ethernet LAN 1 RJ45 port with a standard Ethernet cable. (Ensure the NVR
and PC are receiving power and have started up.) Launch the Windows Remote Desktop Connection application and enter the
following IP address: 192.168.0.100, then proceed to 'Step 2. Installing SV Windows Application' on the following page.
