    SV-1600 Components Microphone with Protection Ring Captures audio when recording video. Rotate the black rubber Protection Ring when the microphone is not in use. Flashlight Control Panel Contains FL (Flashlight), DV (Digital Video), DC (Digital Camera) Buttons, in addition to the Recording Status LED.

    Flashlight Control Panel FL (Flashlight) Button Turns the flashlight on or off, and cycles between three modes: high, low, and tactical strobe. DV (Digital Video) Button Turns recording mode on and off, and starts and stops a full motion video. DC (Digital Camera) Button Once in recording mode, takes still image snapshots.

    Video Retrieval Panel USB Port Accepts a mini-USB plug for video retrieval. microSD Card Slot Accepts a microSD card. To remove the microSD card, push the card gen- tly, then release it, allowing it to “spring” out. To reinsert the card, ensure the label is pointing up (towards the USB Port) and the arrow on the card points towards the slot.

    WARNING - Do NOT attempt to remove the rechargeable battery from the Flashlight Body. It has been correctly installed at the factory and is not user replaceable. The SV-1600 does not accept standard alkaline or other types of rechargeable batteries.

    The Recording Indicator LED flashes red and bright blue repeatedly. The SV- 1600 is now recording video. For best results, try to keep a steady hand, and move the SV-1600 is smooth motions. This helps to avoid blurred video. To stop recording video, press the dv Button once again.
  • Page 11: Retrieving Video And Snapshots

    Retrieving Video and Snapshots Connect the SV-1600 to a Windows PC to access video and snapshots on the microSD card. To connect the DVR Flashlight to a PC: Remove the Flashlight Head from the Flashlight Body. Insert the mini USB plug on the included USB cable into the mini USB port on the bottom of the Flashlight Head.

    Open the text file, and type the date and time in the following format: YYYY/MM/dd hh:MM:ss NOTE - The SV-1600 uses a 24-hour format for time (for example, 3:00 pm would be recorded as “15:00”). Save and close the text document.
