6.11 Energy Saving Management

6.11.1 Programmed energy saving mode

When programmed, it automatically puts one or more groups
into standby mode when the workload decreases and pre-
pares them for full capacity when needed.
The following icon indicates the Energy Saving status on the
display:
To bring a dispensing group out of the standby mode, press
and hold the respective "PROG/STOP" button for 3 seconds.
It will return to full operation in about 1-2 minutes.
If the machine is in "ENERGY SAVING" mode, the steam heat-
ing unit will also be reactivated, effectively exiting from the
"energy saving" mode.
The steam heating unit and the dispensing groups that have
been reactivated, will remain operative until the next time
limit set for the energy saving mode (machine) or the standby
mode (dispensing groups) to start-up has passed.
The system will continue to follow the energy saving settings
that have been programmed.
The machine can also be set to OFF status, which is indicated
by the following icon on the display:
To reactivate the machine, press and hold down the "PROG/
STOP" button for 3 seconds.
Wait approximately 10 minutes for the coffee heating unit to
warm up and approximately 20 minutes for the steam heat-
ing unit to heat up.
If the machine is not used for a time which exceeds the limit
that has been programmed, the machine will return to the
OFF status.
To change the operating parameters of the "Ener-
gy saving" system, contact the Technician.

6.11.2 Dispensing group standby mode

When desired, one or multiple dispensing groups can be man-
ually put in standby mode.
To force the groups into standby mode:
