4.9.3 TONER CARTRIDGE ERROR MESSAGES

The following table shows error message that show on the LCD. The messages
are related to data stored in the EEPROM in the toner cartridge.
Error Message
Toner Low
Toner Empty
Drum Warning
Replace Drum
Description
The amount of remaining
toner is less than 10%
The toner cartridge is empty.
OPC drum is near the end of
its life (14,000 pages).
Toner cartridge mechanical
life has expired.

Solution
Replace the cartridge.
Replace the cartridge.
Replace the cartridge even if
there is still toner in it.
Replace the cartridge.
