    3. Printing with the Operation Panel SAMPLE PRINTING Use this function to print only the first set of a multiple-set print jobs. The re- maining sets are saved on the Hard Disk Drive in the machine. The saved jobs can be printed or cancelled from the machine's operation panel. This can help in avoiding large amounts of misprints in case of mistakes in the content or in the printing settings.

In the [User ID:] box, type a User ID of up to eight alphanumeric characters. Note This is used to identify the user associated with a job. The User ID can consist of up to eight alphanumeric(a-z,A-Z,0-9) charac- ters.

    LOCKED PRINTING LOCKED PRINTING Use this function to maintain privacy when printing confidential documents when sharing a printer over a network. It is possible to print data stored by using the operation panel, once the data is stored in this machine. When using Locked Printing, it will not be possible to print unless the password is entered on the ma- chine's operation panel, meaning that your confidential documents will be safe to print.
