II MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Reinstall muffler cover with new re-
taining screws. Tighten to specifica-
tion.

7) CVT Air Filter

CVT Air Filter Removal
1. Remove gauge support.

Step 1: Pull up
Step 2: Slide
2. Push on three tabs and remove air
filter.

CVT Air Filter Cleaning
1. Inspect filter and replace if dam-
aged.

1. CVT air filter
2. Gently clean filter using a solution of
soft soap and tap water, then rinse
thoroughly.
3. Dry filter completely.
4. Clean inside the CVT air inlet duct.
CVT Air Filter Installation
1. Install air filter on CVT inlet by
stretching its sides.
2. Reinstall gauge support. Refer to
