Removing the FP-1300 and Terminal Bases
from the DIN Rail
Remove an I/O module from its terminal base before lifting the terminal
base off the rail. To remove an FP-1300 network module or terminal base,
unlock it from the DIN rail by placing a flathead screwdriver in the slot on
the rail clip and opening the clip to the unlocked position. After you
disconnect the network module from the local bus connector of the terminal
base, you can lift the terminal base off the rail.
Complete the following steps if you choose to install the optional
FieldPoint network panel-mount accessory and mount the FP-1300
network module to a panel. You can order the panel-mount accessory,
part number 777609-01, from NI.
1.
Write down the serial number from the back of the FP-1300.
2.
Use a flathead screwdriver to open the rail clip to the unlocked
position.
