Create an overpressure in the discharge line to check whether the over‐
pressure sensor triggers at the correct pressure.
CAUTION!
The ATEX pressure sensor may not be reprogrammed.
CAUTION!
The pressure relief valve must not be adjusted.
When commissioning the unit, check whether the drive motor is rotating
correctly - check this against the arrow on the motor housing or the dia‐
gram in the chapter entitled "Electrical Installation."
WARNING!
Risk of injury from the fan impeller
The fan impeller beneath motor's fan cowling can cause
severe injuries while it is turning.
The pump must only be connected to the mains voltage
with the fan cowling closed.
Replace the sealing screw on the oil filler neck with the vent screw sup‐
plied - see chapter "Overview of equipment and control elements".
On a new product, slight oil marks on the pump do not indi‐
cate leaks.
CAUTION!
Danger due to incorrect use of the safety relief valve
The safety relief valve can only protect the motor and the
gear, only against illegal positive pressure that is monitored
by the metering pump itself. It cannot protect the system
against positive pressure.
Protect the motor and gear of the system against posi‐
tive pressure using other mechanisms.
Protect the system against illegal positive pressure using
other mechanisms.
When commissioning the unit, check whether the drive motor is rotating
correctly - check this against the arrow on the motor housing or the dia‐
gram in the chapter entitled "Electrical Installation."
