5. Position the changing carriage with front power lift with
the lift truck in the middle in front of the vehicle, then in-
sert it into the vehicle mounting frame as far as it will go.
6. The front power lift mountings must engage in the left
and right attachment points of the vehicle.

7. Tighten the lock on both sides with screws and secure
with a lock nut.
a An open ring spanner is required to counter the nut

8. Lower and retract the lift truck.

9. Secure the power lift against uncontrolled lowering
while it is being coupled hydraulically. Caution: There is
a risk of injury from the uncontrolled lowering of the pow-
er lift.
10.Depressurise the front hydraulic system (pressure re-
lief).

the operating instructions for the vehicle.
11.Connect the hydraulic hoses to the couplings (note the
colours).
12.Select "Implements" in the "Attachments/Implements"
menu in the vehicle display.
a Refer to the chapter "Display" in the operating instruc-
tions of the vehicle.
13.Deactivate pressure relief.
14.The front power lift is operated using the left joystick on
the vehicle.
a Left joystick forwards - front power lift lowers.
b Left joystick back - front power lift raises.

2.6.3 Removing the front power lift

1. Raise the front power lift.

2. Use a lift truck to move the changing carriage under the
front power lift.
a Raise the lift truck.
b Make sure that the frame of the front power lift is se-
curely seated in the mounting of the removable frame.
3. Depressurise the front hydraulic system (pressure re-
lief).
4. Release the hydraulic hoses.
a Fasten the hydraulic hoses to the front power lift with
cable ties.
5. Open the lock on both sides of the vehicle, see chapter
"Opening/closing the lock".
6. Use a lift truck to move the front power lift out of the ve-
hicle mounting frame.
7. Set down the front power lift in a safe place.
