Installation
Safety Instructions for Installation
WARNING
Incorrect installation can cause serious injuries and damage of property.
If trussing systems are used, installation must be carried out only by instructed or skilled persons.
Follow all applicable European, national and local safety regulations concerning rigging and trussing.
Personal Protective Equipment
During installation and rigging wear personal protective equipment in compliance with the national and
site-specific regulations.
Installation Site Requirements
It is recommended that the device is used indoors. The device can be used outdoors only if the device is
positioned horizontally and the device is not exposed to conditions that exceed the rated IP class
conditions. The front part of the device with the lens is IP54 rated and is protected against dust and water
splashes. The back part of the device with the magnet is IP20 rated and is not protected against harmful
ingress of water.

The device must be installed away from heating sources and direct sunlight.

The relative humidity must not exceed 50 % with an ambient temperature of 40 °C.
Note:
It is recommended to charge the device at an ambient temperature between 0 °C and 35 °C.
Mounting Options
The device can be positioned on a flat surface or mounted to a truss or other rigging structure in any
orientation. Make sure that all loads are within the pre-determined limits of the supporting structure.
If the device is mounted overhead, it should always be secured with a safety cable or another
secondary suspension.
WARNING
Do not mount the device only by the magnet above people's heads.
The secondary suspension can be attached on the mounting bracket (05) or through the slot for Velcro
(09). The device is equipped with 4 threaded openings (11) for M3 screws where you can attach a safety
eye for the secondary suspension.
