Attention Power supply Before connecting the AC power adapter to the power supply, make sure that the current, voltage and frequency match the input voltage, current and frequency specified on the information label on the AC power adapter.

    EventDOT 15 Q4 Attention Do not expose the device to conditions that exceed the rated IP class conditions. The front part of the device with the lens is IP54 rated. The back part of the device with the magnet is IP20 rated.

    Description of the Device The Showtec EventDOT 15 Q4 is a compact battery-powered LED spot. It can be used for stage lighting and it is suitable for corporate and private events. The EventDOT 15 Q4 can be controlled manually, via Wi-Fi and via a remote control.

    EventDOT 15 Q4 Installation Safety Instructions for Installation WARNING Incorrect installation can cause serious injuries and damage of property. If trussing systems are used, installation must be carried out only by instructed or skilled persons. Follow all applicable European, national and local safety regulations concerning rigging and trussing.

To install the diffuser, follow the steps bellow: 01) Place the diffuser above the lens (02), so that the 3 wings of the diffuser will fit into the 3 cut-outs for diffusor installation (03) on the device, as shown in Fig.

    EventDOT 15 Q4 Charging the Battery DANGER Risk of explosion caused by incorrect handling This device contains a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery is not replaceable. The battery may explode or cause burns if it is crushed, disassembled or exposed to fire or high temperatures.

    Setup Stand-alone Setup When the EventDOT 15 Q4 is not connected to a controller or to other devices, it functions as a stand- alone device. It can be operated manually or with an infrared (IR) remote control. For more information about the control modes, refer to 6.5. Control Modes on page 20.

    Continue assigning the starting addresses of the remaining devices by adding each time 9 to the previous number. Make sure that you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each EventDOT 15 Q4 correctly. If two or more devices are addressed similarly, they will work similarly.

    EventDOT 15 Q4 Wi-Fi Setup In this section you can connect the device to the router: Enter the SSID name of the router in the SSID field. Enter the password of the router in the Password field. Click Save WiFi to save the changes and complete the Wi-Fi setup.
