The different mounting options are as follows:
Option 1: upright installation
Swivel the mounting support (04) at 90°.
Place the device on a flat surface, as shown in Fig. 09.
Adjust the angle of the device with the 2 adjustment screws (06).
Make sure that the device cannot move freely after the
adjustment screws (06) are tightened.
Option 2: installation on flat surface without mounting bracket
Remove the mounting bracket (05) from the device.
Place the device on flat surface, as shown in Fig. 10.
Adjust the angle of the device with the tilt adjustment screw (12).
Option 3: installation on a rigging structure with a clamp
Remove the mounting support (04) from the mounting bracket
(05).
Use a clamp to attach the device to the supporting structure, as
shown in Fig. 11.
Secure the device with a secondary suspension, for example a
safety cable. Make sure that the secondary suspension can hold
10 times the weight of the device. Put the safety cable around
the mounting bracket (05).
Adjust the angle of the device with the 2 adjustment screws (06).
Make sure that the device cannot move freely after the
adjustment screws (06) are tightened.
Option 4: installation with the magnet on a metal surface
Remove the mounting bracket (05) from the device.
Attach the device to a flat metal surface, as shown in Fig. 12. The
built-in magnet (13) will hold the device into position.
Note:
If the device is mounted overhead, it should always be secured with
a safety cable or another secondary suspension.
Do not mount the device only with the magnet.
