Adjustable settings when shooting

Adjust the iris and gain when shooting.
≥ You can adjust the iris (the lens stop) and the AE level (exposure compensation) with the rear ring or the multi manual function.
≥ Gain and shutter speed can be adjusted with the multi manual function.

Iris

Adjusting with the rear ring

Select the [CAMERA] menu → [SW MODE] → [REAR RING] → [IRIS] or [IRIS/AE LEVEL].

Switch to manual mode with the <AUTO/MANU> switch. (l 101)

Press the <IRIS> button to switch to manual iris mode.
[STD] disappears.

Rotate the rear ring.
∫ Iris value
CLOSE
(F11 to F1.9)
≥ Value closer to CLOSE darken the image.
≥ Value closer to OPEN brighten the image.
Setting with the multi manual function

Select the [CAMERA] menu → [SW MODE] → [REAR RING] → [ZOOM].

Press the <IRIS> button to switch to manual iris mode.
The iris display is highlighted in orange.

Turn the multidial to adjust, then press the multidial.
The setting changes to the value displayed and exits.
Press the <EXIT> button to exit without changing the setting.
