Managing the DES-5200
received drops below 3000 packets per second and then it returns
to normal.
Block&Trap blocks the port and sends a message to the SNMP
Trap Manager that a specific port is being partitioned from the rest
of the DES-5200. You must configure the SNMP Trap Manager in
order to benefit from this feature.
Trap sends a message to the SNMP Trap Manager that a Broadcast
Storm is going on. However, it does not block or partition the port
no matter how many packets per second are passing through.
