To use the intermittent wiper feature, place the
wiper switch in the "INT" position. With the
switch in this position, the interval between
wipes can be varied from approximately 1 to 18
seconds by turning the interval adjuster barrel.

Your Hyundai is equipped with daytime running
lights. The daytime running lights are used to
improve visibility for oncoming traffic. Your ve-
hicle daytime running lights are designed to
remain on continuously when the engine is
operating even though the headlight switch is in
the "OFF" position. However, the daytime run-
ning lights will be off while the parking brake is
applied.
