The salt and other chemicals spread on winter
roads in some areas can have a detrimental
effect on a vehicle body. You should therefore
wash the vehicle as often as convenient in
accordance with our care-instruction. Have a
preservative applied and the underfloor protec-
tion checked at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer
before and after the cold weather season.

driving in snow and ice. To preserve driving
stability, mount snow tires of the same size and
tread pattern on all four wheels.
Snow tires worn more than 50% are no longer
suitable for use as snow tires.

It is a good idea to carry a shovel or a short-
handled spade in the vehicle during the winter
so that you can clear away snow if you get
stuck. A small hand-brush for sweeping snow
