1 Use high-grade multi-purpose grease.
2 Lubricate the grease nipples in accordance with the lubricating
intervals (Table) using a grease gun.
3 Keep the V-belt clean and free of grease.

Visual inspection of all hydraulic connections
that they are correctly fitted and leakproof.
Check for leaks.
Clean (not with high-pressure cleaner)

12.6 Preparing for maintenance work

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Set the engine speed to idle mode.
3. Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
4. Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
5. Set the main switch to position "0".

12.7 Maintenance work

12.7.1 Secure the attachment frame with the tipping
mechanism
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage
Always secure the lifted attachment frame with the retaining sup-
port.

1. Completely raise the attachment frame.
2. Open the retaining clip and remove the retaining support from
storage.
3. Fit the retaining support over the piston rod and secure with a
retaining clip.
The retainer can be fitted to the left-hand or right-hand piston
rod.
12.7.2 Panels / covers
WARNING
Risk of burns from hot surfaces
Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently prior to removing the
panels / covers.
Note
In order to carry out various maintenance work, the panels / cov-
ers have to be removed.
