Manual – MOVISAFE
WARNING
A fault occurred at the MOVISAFE
in the following cases:
- The DC-24-V supply voltage was switched off and back on.
- The safety option was in standby state.
- Several device faults were acknowledged.
Severe or fatal injuries
To prevent the automatic restart in the aforementioned cases, the parameter Er-
ror status after startup (8703.240) must be parameterized to "Start inhibit". Start
inhibit must be acknowledged.
The occurring faults of the safety option are divided into 5 different fault classes. De-
pending on the fault class, the response described in the following table is carried out.
Fault class
Message.
Warning.
Output fault.
System error.
Critical fault.
No error response is carried out in the case of a message. An entry is made in the
fault memory. In addition, the corresponding error code is transferred.
No error response is carried out in the case of a warning. An entry is made in the fault
memory. In addition, the corresponding error code is transferred.
A warning is information, e.g. about an error in the encoder system, which has no ef-
fect with regard to safety technology at the time of occurrence, but which can repres-
ent an error at a later time.
In the case of a system error, the F-DO_STO is switched to the safe state. In addition,
the drive safety function STO is executed without delay. The safety option is set to the
safe state.
The bits for the drive safety function STO and the fault are set to "1" in the F-protocol.
In addition, the corresponding error code is transferred for the system error that oc-
curred.
