5. Control

The electrochemical sensors for gas analysis are exposed to a process of
wear and tear and they do age. In the course of their use, they change their
initial values depending on the gas concentration, the duration of exposure
to gas and the degree of contamination of the measurement gas.
The device monitors the sensors and corrects any deviation. However, if
these deviations and thus the measurement error to be expected become
too large, a message is displayed. In this case the measuring module has to
be exchanged.
The current status values for the sensors are displayed in the "Control"
menu. The cursor keys can be used to scroll through the 4 control screens.
