3.2.1

Connecting the inlet

• Connect the intake pipe to nozzle <19>.
The intake can also be assembled on one of the scored
areas (see 2.5). When doing this:
• Arrange the intake above the level sensor for switching on the
pump(s). Otherwise, back ow may occur in the intake.
Alternatively, the switching points must be adjusted.
• Do not position the intake close to the level sensor, as the
sensor may be functionally compromised as a result of
contaminations and the wastewater owing in.
If necessary, the assembly positions of the level sensor and the
maintenance port can be swapped
• Use an aligned drill bit and passage seal.
• Align the centre of the bore hole with the centre line of the sc surface
• Do not deburr the edges of the bore, as this may result in leaks.
3.2.2

Connecting the ventilation pipe

• Connect the ventilation pipe to venting connection <38>
(in accordance with DIN EN 12056-4).
It is to carry out a separate ventilation pipe at roof level.
Connections and clamps should have
noise-reduction characteristics.
