Fitting the drive motor for the backwater flap(s)

(Option)
If the design includes a motor-driven flap control, there are one or
two drive motors included in the scope of delivery, depending on the
model type.
These are fitted as follows:

Fix the drive motor <49> to the backwater flap and optionally to the redundant valve as follows.
• If the position has not already been selected, move the locking lever <50> to the CLOSED position (as
shown).
• Remove the protective cap <33>.
• Fix the drive motor <49> in place using 4 screws <32>.
In the case of pumping stations with a shallow inspection chamber depth (cone ring directly above the system
tank), the entire backwater flap assembly (quick release closures) must be removed for the drive motor to be
installed.

Installing the control unit(s)

(Position 14 in fig. [7])

3.9.1 Fixing / connecting the main control unit

Install the Comfort PLUS control unit in accordance with the instructions enclosed with the unit.

3.9.2 Installing the KESSEL tele-control modem

(Option) Install the KESSEL tele-control modem in accordance with the instructions enclosed with this unit.
