Assembly

3.1.

Conditions for assembly

• The Station must be set on a suf ciently load-bearing (determined according to lled weight) and level surface.
• The surface must be suitable for bearing the fastenings (0.9 kN per bolt), in order to prevent the station from
oating.
• Service pipes (intake, outlet and ventilation) must be fastened in a self-supporting way, they must not rest on
the station.
• The lling volume of the pressure pipes must not exceed the station's effective volume.
The effective volume of the station is de ned by the ON and OFF
switching points and the post run time. If this is not observed,
sediments may build up in the intake pipe which can lead
to functional disruptions.

Assembling the Station

Stations are heavy and bulky. Use suitable load-carrying facilities (crane, platform truck, etc.) to for transport.
When transporting using load-carrying facilities, the Station must be securely fastened to a suitably stable pallet.
If the station is to be transported, it can be helpful to disassemble the wastewater pump(s) in order to reduce
weight. If these have been disassembled, the station must be additionally be tested for leaks on the pump ange
prior to start-up.
The pump ange must not be removed (see 7.1)..
Ensure suf cient space for maintenance work, in accordance with the valid guidelines and standards. We recom-
mend at least 60 cm of free space around the work area
If provided, place sound-absorbing underlays (accessories) at the installation point so that the Station can be
positioned on these
