V ertical movements of the P.U.arm
Under the influence of the ​ l arge long ​ CHUBBY tension spring (81) the lever tonge/ ​ u pper​ lifting strip (​
) is pulled in the >>>direction of the ​ a xis​ >>> of the control disc /command dial and ​ r ests against the

roller​ (123) on the cam disc. As When the control disc /command dial rotates, the roller rotates away
from the lever tab/ ​ l ifting strip​ , causing it to move >>>towards >>> the axis. As a result, the pick-up will
be ​ p ushed upwards​ by the lifting disc [82] . The movement/stroke is limited by the ​ p in​ on the bottom
plate ​ ( ​ 7 3​ ) .

When the roller ​ 1 23​ touches the lever plate/ lifting strip ​
opposite direction ​ a gainst the force of the spring​ , and this gives the P.U, again the opportunity ​ t o fall
back descend, hereby helped by the pressure spring (​ 8 5​ ) ​ u nder the pick up arm​ . The vertical
movements of the P.U.arm have now become clear. In order to prevent arbitrary/ random movements
of the P.U. arm when it is lifted off the, the disc ,the lever plate (​
SPRING 85 ​ r ests on a plastic disc​ which is mounted on the lifting disc.
4.​ The changer mechanism.
Under the influence of the SMALL skinny LONG tension ​ s pring ​ ( ​ 7 5​ ) the change device/ insert LOWER
PLATE (​ 7 4​ ) is also pulled towards the control disc/command dial. The roller (​ 6 8​ ) on the changer presses
against the cam disc.
When the control disk rotates, ​ t here is a ​
of the disk, causing the change device to move in the direction of the command disk axis and then be
pushed back again​ . As a result of these movements the hinged part of the ​ c enter pin​ is moved ​ b ack and
forth.

As soon as the hinged part of the center pin (​ 6 3​ ) is moved by the changer device, all the discs are pushed
aside from the bottom side. The ​ s houlder of the hinged pin​ , on which originally all the plates rested,
now fits in the extension of the pin, giving the bottom disc the opportunity to fall. The others rests on
the fixed part of the center pin. When the hinged part of the pin is pushed back by the mechanism, the
