Power Source

DANGER
Risk of electric shock. The BioLector XT external power supply operates with a
supply voltage of 100-240 V. Do not open the housing. Do not place the instrument
near water sources.
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, the supplied BioLector Power Unit and VCU
external power supply use a three-wire electrical cord and plug to connect to
earth-ground. Ensure that the matching wall outlet receptacle is properly wired
and earth-grounded.
WARNING
Risk of personal injury or equipment damage. The power cord serves as the
primary disconnecting device. Access to the disconnection device (power cord)
must be available. Do not position the equipement so that it is difficult to access
the disconnection device (power cord).
NOTE
Mean supply outage fluctuations are not to exceed ±10% of the nominal supply voltage.

Waste Disposal

WARNING
Risk of biohazardous contamination if you have skin contact with the incubation
chamber, gassing lids, and associated microtiter plates and its contents. The
incubation chamber, gassing lids, and associated microtiter plates and its
contents might contain residual biological material and must be handled with
care. Clean up spills immediately. Dispose of all waste in accordance with your
local regulations and acceptable laboratory procedures.
