Adjusting the brush contact pressure
8. The brush system has a hydraulic brush contact pres-
sure relief system.

Store the attachment kit in a protected, level and dry place.
Ensure that the sweeping brushes are not loaded.
1. Remove the sweeping system from the vehicle, then re-
move the sweeping brushes and store the sweeping
system on the pallet.
2. Ensure that the sweeping brushes are not loaded during
attachment to the vehicle.

3-brush sweeping system attachment (ex
works)

1.4.1 Requirements for removal/installation

A changing carriage is required for removing/attaching the
sweeping system.
Note
Optional accessory, order no. 2.852-862.0
1 Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2 The brush system must be sitting on the changing car-
riage for removal/installation from/on the vehicle. Use a
lift truck for removal/installation.
3 The corresponding > Sweep < program must be select-
ed on the display.

1.4.3 Removing the 3-brush sweeping system

 Removal of the sweeping system is described using the
optionally available changing carriage.

1. Stop the vehicle on level, solid ground and secure it
against rolling away.
2. Use a lift truck to move the changing carriage into posi-
tion under the vehicle.
3. Insert the side brushes individually into the side brush
holder and lower them into the correct position.
4. Depressurise the front hydraulic system. See chapter
"Depressurizing the hydraulic system".
5. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses, water connections and
power supply and stow them in the holder on the chang-
ing carriage.
6. Loosen the suction hose at the suction mouth (hose
clip).
7. Loosen the carrier connection between the vehicle and
the suction mouth (left / right).
8. Open the locks (left and right). See chapter "Opening /
closing the lock".
9. Extend the changing carriage together with the 3-brush
system (without suction mouth).
10.Raise and secure the waste container.
