Apply parking brake.
CAUTION

Switch off the suction fan before emptying the waste con-
tainer.
CAUTION
Risk of injury
During the emptying process, persons and animals must
not abide within the swivelling range of the waste contain-
er.
CAUTION
Crush hazard
Never reach into the rod assembly for the emptying mech-
anism.
CAUTION
Risk of fire
When emptying, make sure that no flammable material
(e.g. leaves ... ) is present in the emptying area.
Emptying the waste container

Manual suction hose attachment kit (optional)

1. If a manual suction hose attachment kit is attached to
the vehicle, fold it to the side and secure it before emp-
tying. See chapter "Manual suction hose attachment".
2. Drive the vehicle to the emptying position in slow trans-
port mode.
3. Stop the vehicle.
4. Bring the travel direction lever into the neutral position
(middle position).
5. Switch on the hydraulic system (PTO).

6. Operate the switch.

7. Empty the waste container.
Note
Always raise the waste container fully to the end posi-
tion.
If necessary, remove any adhering soiling with a dirt
scraper (optional) and clean with water. See chapter
"Cleaning the waste container"

Opening/closing the lock

The locks secure the attachment devices (e.g. sweeping
system). These are located on the left and right sides in the
area in front of the front wheel and are recognizable as yel-
low levers.
CAUTION
Danger of accident
Check the locking mechanism for correct adjustment with
each attachment.

Opening the lock
1. Loosen the screws from the left and right locking levers
by approx. 1 cm.
The lock is released.
2. Lift the locking lever on the side handle, then push it
back. The attachment can be attached.

3. Insert the mounting arm from the attachment all the way
to the end stop.
4. Push the locking lever forwards.
5. Tighten the screw, check that the attachment is securely
attached.

1.3.1 Requirements for removal/installation

A changing carriage is required for removing/attaching the
sweeping system.
Note
Optional accessory, order no. 2.852-862.0
1 Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2 The brush system must be sitting on the changing car-
riage for removal/installation from/on the vehicle. Use a
lift truck for removal/installation.
3 The corresponding > Sweep < program must be select-
ed on the display.
