The mower is equipped with “Perfect Cut” cutterbar. Table 1 shows differences in mowing height depending on angle at which cutterbars operate.

Residual risk Despite the fact, that company SaMASZ Białystok – the manufacturer of that mower takes responsibility for design and manufacturing of the mower, in order to eliminate dangerous situations, certain risk during mower operation is unavoidable.

Danger of catching This kind of risk occurs when changing position of a mower, operation near rotating parts, working without safety guards. During operation, maintenance and regulations always wear protective gloves, shoes and clothes without loose parts, belts and so on. Always comply with safety decals placed on the mower.

Mounting and timing of the knives The knives should be mounted as shown in Fig. 29 and Fig. 31. The knives recommended by the manufacturer have dimensions 105x49x4 and comply with the norm PN-EN 795:2002. Mount the knives according to the rule, that cutting edges should be directed towards the ground, so that a knife will lift the grass after cutting.

Disassembly Before any repair or service works clean the mower thoroughly and remove any grass, dirt or mud. Carefully check nuts and bolts for adequate torque and pins for wear. Replace screws, pegs, pins, bushings, disks, holders, knives, knife mountings, bearings etc., if necessary.
