Frequently Asked Questions
It takes a short while for the OpenCom
100 to start up. After the restart, check
whether the activity LED is flashing with
a 10s / 1s cycle. This flash cycle indicates
that the OpenCom 100 has started up
correctly and is ready for operation. If
the OpenCom 100 has not restarted
properly, reset the OpenCom 100 to its
original factory setting (refer to the
chapter Resetting the System Data start-
ing on page 36).
Make sure the NTBA mains plug has
been connected; if it has, the connection
with the exchange may have failed.
Check the connection between the NTBA
and the OpenCom 100.
In the Configurator, check whether the
the external S
ports have been config-
0
ured correctly (PBX Configuration: S
menu).
With the original factory setting, an ad-
ditional external S
port is set for an
0
NTBA in system configuration; this addi-
tional port will be used first to seize a
trunk line. Deactivate the second S
in the Configurator (PBX Configuration:
S
menu).
