All OpenCom 100 settings can be
edited or updated via remote config-
uration. New software versions of
the OpenCom 100 and the software
for the connected system terminals
and base stations can also be in-
stalled (see the SYS Configuration:
Firmware menu in the Configura-
tor).
For security reasons, settings in the
Configurator, Net Configuration
should only be edited on site, in
order to avoid possible malfunctions
or failures in the customer's LAN (e.g.
due to IP address conflicts). Please
refer to the chapter Configuration Ex-
amples starting on page 40 where
the interaction between the Open-
Com 100 and a LAN is explained.
Codes for IP
Configuration
The IP configuration of the Open-
Com 100 is performed on the Web
console Configurator, in the NET
Configuration menu.
In the case where the IP configura-
tion of the OpenCom 100 has to be
changed, and access via the Web
console or the serial port is not pos-
sible, you can also use a code digit
procedure to change these basic set-
tings. Input can be made from an an-
alogue telephone, an ISDN tele-
phone, and from system telephones.
Configuration
Ask your system Administrator for
the OpenCom 100 system PIN. The
factory setting is "0000."
