Rear Wheel/Suspension
• A contaminated brake disc or pad reduces stopping power. Discard contaminated pads and clean a contaminated
disc with a high quality brake degreasing agent.
NOTE
• When servicing the rear wheel, place the motorcycle on its center stand.
• Do not operate the brake pedal or lever after the rear wheel is removed.
• Adjust the drive chain free play after installing the wheel.

• Loosen the drive chain adjuster fully, then remove the
axle nut.
• Move the rear wheel forward,
and derail the drive
chain from the driven sprocket.
