26. Remove the filter and O-ring.
27. The filter and O-ring can be used with the new port fittings unless either is damaged. A
damaged filter or O-ring should be replaced with a new one.
28. Place the filter and the O-ring on the new port fitting.
To avoid analysis problems, the filter and O-ring must be clean. Do not touch
them with bare hands.
29. Install the port fitting; securely tighten the fitting with a wrench to prevent leaks.
30. Install the updated software (refer to the ASAP 2420 Operator's Manual for instructions).
31. Turn on power to the analyzer and to the vacuum pumps.
32. Open the ASAP 2420 software.
