Removing the system backplane from the 9080-M9S system control unit
To remove the system backplane, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. At the rear of the system control unit, use a T15 Torx screwdriver to loosen the two captive screws (A)
as shown in the following figure.

3. Hold on to one side of the bulkhead and use your other hand to support the bottom of the system
backplane as you pull the backplane out of the rear of the chassis as shown in the previous figure.
