Verifying device configuration

About this task
Use this procedure to verify that the Avaya Vantage
use.
Procedure
1. Tap Settings > Debugging options > Configuration verifier.
2. On the Configuration verifier screen, tap the following configuration items to see the
validation details and ensure that the status of the validations are PASS:
• Network Status: Validates whether the IP address is defined and the device is
connected to the network.
You can tap Refresh Network Status to refresh the network status information.
• DNS Status: Validates whether a DNS server is configured and reachable.
• Date & Time Status: Validates whether an SNTP server is configured and reachable to
synchronize the device clock.
• File Server Status: Validates whether the file server address is received from a
configuration source and the file server is reachable.
• File Downloads Status: Validates whether the device downloads the Avaya Vantage
software and configuration files from the file server successfully. The detailed
information contains the download status of various configuration files, including the
upgrade file, software image file, settings file, trusted certificates, PKCS12 file, third-
party application control file, SSH Login Banner, wallpapers, screen saver files, and ring
tones.
• AADS Status: Validates whether Avaya Aura
reachable.
The Configuration verifier screen only displays this status if Avaya Aura
Services is configured for your setup. This field is applicable only to the Avaya Aura
environment.
• SIP Settings Status: Validates whether the SIP domain and SIP controllers are
configured.
• Identity certificate Status: Validates whether an identity certificate is configured.
• Phone Application Status: Validates whether the Avaya Vantage
communication experience is configured and installed successfully.
• Administrator Password Status: Validates whether the administrator password is
configured correctly. You can use the administrator password to access administrator
options in the Settings menu on Avaya Vantage
• FIPS Mode Status: Indicates whether the device has passed the FIPS self test for
Avaya cryptography library when FIPS mode is enabled. If the device currently supports
FIPS, the detailed status displays whether any non-compliant services are running on
