About this task
You can connect your Avaya Vantage
Do not connect an external monitor to the device using HDMI during an active call.
Before you begin
Ensure that:
• You have a micro HDMI to HDMI cable. Avaya Vantage
• The correct HDMI port is selected on your external monitor. Some monitors support more
than one HDMI connection.
Procedure
Connect your Avaya Vantage
The external monitor displays your Avaya Vantage
If you observe any issues after you connect the device to an external monitor, restart the device.

Routing audio to external device through HDMI connection

About this task
You can route audio from your Avaya Vantage
HDMI connection. Audio routing through HDMI is available only for media, alarms, and
notifications sounds. Avaya Vantage
HDMI port.
By default, audio routing to the HDMI port is disabled.
Procedure
1. Connect your Avaya Vantage
HDMI port.
2. On the Home screen, tap Applications.
3. Tap Settings > Display > Advanced > HDMI.
4. Tap the Allow audio routing to HDMI port toggle switch to enable audio routing to the
external monitor.
The audio is transferred to the external monitor.
