Fan does not switch on.
Cause
No mains voltage.
Impeller blocked.
Humidity control is
not working
correctly/is faulty
with RCH units.
Motor's thermal overload protection
switches the fan off.
Cause
Motor too hot.

Remedy
Switch the mains
fuse on.
Fault rectification
may only be carried
out by a trained
specialist.
Remove cover [6].
Release the internal
grille [5] at the
locking hooks (
arrow) and remove
it.
Check impeller and
clean if necessary.
Call on the services
of an expert.
Remedy
Wait until the motor
has cooled down.
Cool-down time can
be up to 10 minutes.
Unit switches back
on automatically
after cooling down.
Fan doesn't react to radio commands
Cause
Fans are not correctly
set up.
Fans are out of range. Switch repeater mode

14. Dismantling

Danger to life from electric
shock.
Dismantling may only be
DANGER
undertaken by an electrician.
Switch off mains fuse before
removing.
1.
Release and remove the cover [6]
( arrow, Fig. above).
2.
Remove electronics cover [4] (3 latches,
 Chapter 8.2).
3.
Remove power cable.
4.
Remove fan.
Remedy
Delete all component
transmitters (Delete
mode
Chapter 9.6).
Delete the transmitter
at the RLS RC.
Power the fan off
briefly. Then set up
the components
again.
on at a fan that is
within range.
If the range is still not
enough, deploy
additional repeaters,
to be supplied by the
customer.
