Cause, measures
Check whether the
mains fuse has failed.
Switch on if necessary.
Motor too hot. Wait
until motor and temper-
ature limiter have
cooled. Cool-down time
can be up to 10
minutes. Only then
switch the fan on again.
Check the impeller and
clean the fan if neces-
sary. Check the fan for
unusual noises during
operation.
Operation without air
filter. Install air filter in
duct system. Never
clean the interior of the
fan with water or a high-
pressure cleaner.
Switch off the fan. Make
sure that the impeller is
not blocked by foreign
bodies.
15 Dismantling and environment-
ally sound disposal
Old devices and electronic components may
only be dismantled by specialists with elec-
trical training.
Packaging and old appliances contain
valuable materials that can be recycled.
According to the Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Act and the WEEE Directive,
these must not be disposed of in the do-
mestic waste. Dispose of them in an envir-
onmentally friendly manner, in compliance
with the regulations valid in the country
