Raising the vehicle

Inadequate securing of
WARNING
vehicle
An unsecured or incorrectly secured vehicle can
move unintentionally or tip or fall off lifting equip-
ment such as a jack or lifting platform. This can
cause serious injury and damage.
e Raise the vehicle using a jack on a solid and flat
surface only.
e Raise the vehicle only at the prescribed jacking
points on the vehicle underbody.
e Always place the vehicle on solid supports when
working under the vehicle.
e Engage the electric parking brake when working
with the vehicle switched on.
Control operation of the
WARNING
leveling system
A vehicle on which the leveling system is activated
can move unexpectedly or tip or fall off lifting

equipment, e.g. a jack or lifting platform. This can
cause serious injuries and damage.
e Manually set medium height and switch off the
height control system before lifting the vehicle.
Lifting the vehicle
WARNING
If the PASM displays a warning message or the ve-
hicle is too hot, there is a risk of injuries and damage
from raising the vehicle.
e Only raise the vehicle after it has cooled down.
e Do not perform any work on the chassis when-
ever the PASM displays a warning message ei-
ther. Visit an qualified specialist repair shop.
Porsche recommends an authorized Porsche
dealer, as they have trained technicians and the
necessary parts and tools.
