Using Wheel Locks
WARNING
DO NOT attempt to stop a moving wheelchair with the wheel locks. Wheel locks are NOT brakes.
If wheel locks DO NOT hold the occupied wheelchair in place, contact a qualified technician - otherwise injury or damage
may occur.
Push to Lock
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 8.
Ensure wheelchair is not moving before engaging.
1.
To engage, (from the seated position) push the wheel lock handle (A) forward until the wheel lock shoe (B) contacts the wheel (C).
2.
To disengage, (from the seated position) pull the wheel lock handle (A) rearward until the wheel lock shoe (B) disengages the wheel (C).
